Surya Maddula

Surya Maddula is currently building an AI-powered system for Open-Air Active Noise Cancellation at Whisperwave and collaborates with Columbia University on LLMs under the mentorship of Prof. Alejandro Zarate. Surya has partnered with Microsoft for Startups to scale Whisperwave and holds a recently granted patent for AI x Physics from the Indian Patent Office. Additionally, Surya contributes writings on AI and Tech to Towards AI and is an alum of The Knowledge Society. Surya participated as a speaker at the Shell Changemakers of Tomorrow 2023 conference, presenting on ambient noise cancellation, and has held various leadership roles at students x students, focusing on partnerships and growth strategies. Educational pursuits include studies at Case Western Reserve University, Startup School Online, and buildspace.
