Benjamin Ran

Benjamin Ran is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in developing infrastructure and tools for large-scale data processing, currently employed at Pinecone since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Development Engineer at A9.com and Software Developer at UCSC Genomics Institute, where Benjamin contributed to genomics data processing and BI tools for log analysis. Early internships at A9.com and Waterline Data provided hands-on experience with Apache Hadoop and Hive technologies, culminating in a first-place win at the A9 Intern Hackathon. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
