Abhishek Dayal, AICP

Abhishek Dayal has extensive work experience in the public transit industry. Abhishek began their career at Valley Metro RPTA in 2005, where they held various planning roles, including Planner I, Planner II, and Planner III. In these positions, they managed corridor planning projects, served as a GIS and Travel Forecasting Manager, and updated the agency's Capital Improvement Forecast program. Abhishek also served as the agency's Transit Oriented Development Manager, coordinating with member cities on land use planning and tracking development activities along the light rail alignment. In 2014, Abhishek became the Manager of System and Service Development at Valley Metro RPTA, and later transitioned to become the Manager of Capital Development. In 2018, Abhishek joined Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority as the Director of Project Management Office, overseeing the implementation of innovative transit projects and providing regular reporting to C-level executives.

Abhishek Dayal, AICP completed their Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, from 1998 to 2003. Abhishek then pursued further education and obtained a Masters degree in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati, from 2003 to 2005.
