Jin Thai Chong

Jin Thai Chong is a dedicated engineering professional specializing in tunnel engineering with extensive experience in complex projects across various regions. Currently serving as Lead Tunnel Engineer at Pini Group since October 2023, Jin has previously held positions at SMEC as Associate Engineer - Tunnels, Arcadis as Senior Tunnel Engineer, and NOMA Consulting as Tunnel Engineer, contributing to significant projects such as the Ontario Line in Toronto, the Melbourne Metro Tunnels, and the West Gate Tunnel Project in Melbourne. Earlier roles at GHD and Arup further established a strong foundation in detailed design, construction support, and feasibility studies. Jin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology and began the professional career as a Graduate Tunnel Engineer.
