Lena Wäppling

Lena Wäppling is a seasoned executive and board member with extensive experience in both corporate and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at Karnell Group AB, Pinja Group, Envac AB, and Drupps, Wäppling plays a significant role in governance and strategic oversight across various industries, including software, waste management, and water innovation. As the Founder and Chairperson of Lena Wäppling's Foundation, Wäppling is dedicated to advancing gynecological research for ovarian cancer. Previous major roles at ABB included Group VP positions in global sales and product management, where responsibilities spanned over 1700 employees and significant sales volumes. Wäppling holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Linköping University and has participated in several leadership development programs.
