Karlee Lown has held various roles throughout their work experience. Karlee started their career as an Event Advertising Designer at the Office of Student Activities at Colorado State University - Pueblo in 2009. During this time, they were responsible for creating print and digital advertisements for campus events. Karlee also played a role in organizing and setting up these events.

From 2013 to 2015, Karlee worked as an Advertising Designer for CSU-Pueblo Today, where they continued to create advertisements. In 2013, they also participated in a summer internship as a Sea Turtle Intern at The Science Exchange.

In 2015, Karlee joined the City of Pueblo as a Community Service Coordinator, supervising minors during community service projects and assisting with city-wide clean-ups. Later that year, they became an Events Coordinator at Butterfly Pavilion, organizing public and private events and creating educational programs focused on conservation.

In 2017, Karlee held two positions: Curatorial Assistant at Butterfly Wonderland, LLC, where they provided education to guests and cared for the organization's horticulture and butterfly systems, and Events and Outreach Specialist at Arizona State Parks and Trails, where they scheduled and attended outreach events throughout Arizona.

In 2018, Karlee became a Marketing Specialist at Northern Arizona Healthcare. In this role, they developed and tracked marketing efforts, managed vendor and media relations, created marketing campaigns, and handled financial duties such as budgeting and spending.

In 2022, Karlee moved on to UCHealth as a Creative Team/Brand Management Project Manager, overseeing creative projects and brand management. Karlee then joined Pinnacol Assurance as a Marketing and Communications Project Manager, where they manage marketing and communications projects.
