Ian Chestnutt

Ian Chestnutt is the Head of Finance at Pinsent Masons. Ian has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Ian started their career as a Chief Accountant at InBev UK. Ian then became the On Trade Financial Controller and later the Financial Controller UK & Ireland. In 2006, they became the Finance Director UK & Ireland.

In 2007, Ian joined Linklaters as their Financial Controller. Ian reported to the UK Head of Finance. In 2009, their role expanded to report directly to the Global CFO. And in 2011, their role widened further to encompass a broader remit. Ian is now responsible for providing strategic, financial and commercial advice to practice senior management, as well as delivery of all services provided by Finance in the region.

Ian Chestnutt works with Tim Dale - Director of Knowledge, Chris Andrews - Director of Risk & Compliance, and James Crookes - Partner, Head of Real Estate & Property. Jonathan Bond - Director of HR & Learning, Charlotte Beckett - Director of Finance report to Ian Chestnutt. Ian Chestnutt reports to John Cleland, Managing Partner.
