Xin Yao

Xin Yao is an experienced engineering manager currently leading a team of eight engineers at Pinterest on the Ads Measurement Team, focusing on building near real-time and offline distributed data processing systems that analyze trillions of events daily for business insights. Prior to Pinterest, Xin Yao served as a senior software engineer at Facebook, contributing to distributed system development within the Spark team, and held various roles at Hulu, including senior software developer on the Big Data Platform team. Xin Yao's earlier experience includes internships at notable companies such as Baidu, Microsoft, and NetEase Youdao. Xin Yao holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
