Jose Hidalgo

Jose Hidalgo began their work experience in 2017 at the Contraloría General de la República Dominicana, where they served as a Software Developer. During this time, they collaborated on maintaining and implementing new features for the institution's internal auditing software, worked as the lead developer on a team project integrating API services between two government departments, and maintained an AngularJS-based internal control app.

In 2019, Jose joined Newtech, S.R.L. as a Software Engineer and continued in this role until March 2020.

In 2020, Jose worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Laboratio from February 2020 to March 2021. Following this, they joined Pinwheel as a Software Engineer. At Pinwheel, Jose initially joined the Integrations team, specializing in integrating payroll provider systems in the USA. Jose was one of the first ten employees at Pinwheel and gained valuable experience in building a company from the ground up.

Jose Hidalgo obtained their Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad APEC from 2015 to 2019. Jose additionally received the certification of Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in April 2023.
