Ilia Baranov is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in robotics and software development. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Polymath Robotics, Ilia specializes in developing general autonomy software for industrial vehicles. Previous roles include Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, Software Development Manager at Amazon, and Engineering Manager at Clearpath Robotics, where Ilia directed research product engineering and managed teams across various robotics projects. Ilia's foundational experience includes significant contributions to electrical design, ROS software development, and the advancement of mobile robotics, stemming from initial engineering roles at the Canadian Space Agency and Aeryon Labs. Ilia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
