Max Kolysh is a Senior Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco. Max focuses on investments in consumer and enterprise software companies. Prior to joining Pioneer Fund, Max was a software engineer at Palantir Technologies, where they created a front-end heavy Rails application to facilitate bug report communication from customer service to developers. Max has also worked as a financial services consultant at Oliver Wyman, where they improved the usability, accuracy, and efficiency of an Access-based model used by over 20 teams annually to estimate proceeds and fees for investment banks in equity and debt capital markets. Max started their career as a technical instructor at the MIT Africa Information Technology Initiative, where they taught computer science to students in Rwanda.
Max Kolysh has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Max also has a bachelor of science in engineering, a masters, and a bachelor of science in computer science from Solon High School.
