Newsha Ghaeli

Newsha Ghaeli is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of urban design and technology. As the President and Cofounder of Biobot Analytics since September 2017, Ghaeli has played a crucial role in pioneering innovative solutions. Ghaeli also serves as a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund since August 2018. Prior experience includes a position as Research Associate and Project Lead at MIT Senseable City Lab from July 2014 to September 2017 and instructing a graduate course on Digital City Design at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2017. Earlier career highlights include working as a Junior Architect at Carlo Ratti Associati. Ghaeli holds a Master of Architecture from McGill University, an Honours Bachelor of Architectural Studies with distinction from the University of Waterloo, and has participated in a research fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Urban Studies and Planning, along with an exchange program at EPFL and a Y Combinator cohort in Winter 2018.
