Tom Riek

Mr. Tom Riek is the Vice President of Operations for Pioneer Industries International. Mr. Riek is responsible for overseeing the operations of company’s processing facilities. Prior to joining Pioneer Industries International, Tom was the Vice President of Recycling for Veolia Environmental Services. Mr. Riek also served as Chief Executive Officer of Container Recycling Alliance (CRA), an industry-leading recycling organization for recovering glass containers from the waste stream for reuse in the manufacture of new glass products. During his career Mr. Riek was the Chief Financial Officer of Recycle America Alliance, the nation’s largest recycler and the recycling subsidiary of Waste Management, Inc. Tom has over 30 years of general management, operational, finance and accounting experience in the building materials, hazardous waste and recycling industries. Mr. Riek is a graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. In addition, he received his MBA in finance from DePaul University.
