Alan van Reet

Alan Van Reet has a diverse work experience that includes both the oil and gas industry as well as the US Navy. Alan started their career in 2004 as a Lieutenant in the US Navy, serving on the USS Maryland (SSBN-738) (Blue). During their time in the Navy, they held various roles such as Assistant Engineer, Quality Assurance Officer, Damage Control Assistant, Reactor Controls Assistant, and Tactical Systems Officer. In 2010, Alan joined Pioneer Natural Resources Company, where they worked until the present day. Alan'sroles at the company include Operations Director, Sr Operations Manager - Pioneer Water Management LLC, Operations Manager - Pioneer Water Management LLC, Sr Operations Superintendent, Drilling Engineer, and Engineer II - Worldwide Facilities. Alan's experience spans a range of responsibilities, from project management to mechanical design of surface production facilities, electrical generation and distribution, and process control and instrumentation.

Alan Van Reet earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Alan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School from 2004 to 2005.
