Thaddeus J. Owens

Thaddeus J. Owens has worked in communications and government relations for over 20 years. Thaddeus began their career as an account manager at Bradley/Reid Communications, Inc. in June 2000. In December 2000, they left Bradley/Reid to become the executive director of the Resource Development Council for Alaska, Inc. (RDC). Thaddeus held this position for six years, until October 2006. During their time at the RDC, Thaddeus was responsible for coordinating various projects aimed at developing natural resources in Alaska. In October 1997, they began working as a project coordinator for the RDC. Thaddeus left this position in May 2000 to start their own business, Alaska Trail and Sail Adventures. Thaddeus ran this business for two years before returning to the RDC as its executive director. Thaddeus has been with Pioneer Natural Resources since January 2007 and currently serves as its vice president of communications and government relations.

Owens earned a bachelor's degree in political science and government from Carleton College.

Their manager is Scott D. Sheffield, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Thomas D. Sheffield - VP Health, Safety and Environment, Craig Kuiper - Vice President, Production Operations, and John C. Distaso - VP Marketing.
