Paras Dahal

Paras Dahal is a Machine Learning Engineer at Pioneer since September 2022, where a leading role in developing the first ML-powered early-stage venture fund has been undertaken. Prior experience includes a stint as a Machine Learning Research Intern at Elsevier, focusing on the generalization properties of deep learning-based relation extraction methods, and founding Docdown, a document workflow automation software that was acquired by GetBusy PLC in November 2021. Earlier, Paras worked as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Marax AI, Inc., where a state-of-the-art clustering algorithm for textual data was published. Initial experience also includes a graduate internship at Microsoft. Paras holds a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology.
