Marcus Vankommer

Marcus vanKommer has a diverse range of work experience. Marcus started their career at Valley Cycling and Fitness, a family business, where they gained sales and mechanical skills. Marcus then founded their own business, vanKommer Industrial Design, where they helped clients bring their product ideas to life. Marcus also worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Magic Metals, collaborating with customer design teams on sheet metal and machined components. Marcus also worked at Cascade Quality Molding as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Engineer, gaining experience in fixture design, project management, and injection molding. Marcus later joined Haley MFG as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they worked on lightening a cherry drencher and met the current owner. Marcus also served as the Non-Profit Finance Director (Regional) for Pioneers, streamlining a complex financial system and transitioning to remote work. Currently, they are a Senior Mechanical Engineer at MNR Technology Inc.

Marcus vanKommer attended Washington State University from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
