Bing Zhang

Bing Zhang's work experience includes holding the position of VP at Pionex since April 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of FICC at SDG AM (HK) from December 2020 to March 2022. Before that, they founded Quantamental Alpha Asset Management in August 2017 and served as the Founder until January 2022. From April 2016 to December 2020, they worked as the Head of Trading at Haier Finance Company. Prior to that, they worked as a Portfolio Manager at Trinitus Asset Management from July 2011 to March 2016. Bing also served as a Portfolio Manager at Citi Principal Strategies from July 2009 to July 2011. Bing began their career as an Equity Derivative Trader at Old Lane from September 2007 to June 2009. Prior to that, they worked as an FX Quant/Trading at Lehman Brothers from June 2006 to August 2007. Bing started their career as an Intern Quant at Bloomberg from June 2005 to September 2005.

Bing Zhang obtained a PhD degree in Applied Mathematics in Finance from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
