Vivan Tran

Vivan Tran, M.S has held various roles in the field of drug safety and pharmacovigilance. Vivan'smost recent position was as the Director of Patient Safety at Pionyr Immunotherapeutics, where they oversaw safety operations and implemented processes to track and review adverse cases. Prior to that, they worked at SJSU College of Professional and Global Education as an Instructor, developing and teaching a curriculum in drug safety and pharmacovigilance. Vivan also has experience at Allogene Therapeutics as the Director of PV Operations and Compliance, where they developed department goals and managed the PV Operations team. Vivan has also worked at BeiGene as the Senior Manager of Pharmacovigilance Partner Management, at AbbVie in various roles including Project Manager and Post Marketing Collaboration and Vendor Management, at Pharmacyclics as a Project Manager and Drug Safety Specialist, at Gilead Sciences as a Drug Safety and Public Health Specialist and Drug Safety Coordinator, at Good Samaritan Hospital in a clinical lab role, and at MedImmune as a Clinical Services Associate. Vivan's experience spans across different aspects of drug safety, including overseeing safety operations, managing vendor relationships, developing standard operating procedures, and training new hires.

Vivan Tran, M.S obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Medical Product Development Management from San Jose State University, which was completed from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Vivan earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology, General from the same university in 2008. Additionally, Vivan has completed various certifications in subjects such as adverse event management and medical terminology from institutions like Barnett International and Allied Health-Mission College. Recently, in the year 2020, Vivan obtained a certification in Developing a Mentoring Program from LinkedIn.
