Hana Leshner

Hana is a seasoned producer, writer, and director with more than 13 years of experience creating documentary, branded, and commercial content for a multitude of platforms from theatrical to broadcast to digital. She has produced on feature documentaries including the theatrically released, festival darling Waiting for Lightning, worked for industry media giants including Univision and Viacom where she oversaw a multiyear branded digital series, and worked with iconic brands such as Nike, Apple, BMW and REI to create compelling and cutting edge commercial content. She has also directed and written for documentaries focused on social justice issues ranging from immigration to LGBT families. In her spare time she runs a non-partisan, pro-voter participation instagram account showcasing community art, voter information guides, and content celebrating civic engagement. Hana is excited about the evolution of storytelling in the digital space and is constantly seeking new ways to inspire and engage with audiences and bring them into dialogue on important issues.
