Paul Hoey

As Head of Research-based at PIR’s Cambridge office, Paul has coordinated projects for many of PIR’s early stage and SME clients; including advanced science, therapeutic, and medical technology businesses, within the UK and the US. Since joining PIR in 2012, his focus has been on Executive, Non-Executive, and Board level roles.

He is renowned for his calm and tenacious approach, leaving nothing to chance and delivering outstanding shortlists for client projects. Clients, candidates, and colleagues value his deep understanding of the life science sector and his ability to forge strong relationships. His success has led to his current promotion, in June 2019, as part of the company's growth strategy. Paul graduated from the University of Northampton with a first-class BA (Hons) Degree in Business Management.
