Rashida Najmi

Rashida Najmi has a strong work history in the pharmaceutical industry. Rashida currently holds the position of CQO - Chief Quality Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited, where they are responsible for developing a quality culture and ensuring compliance. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Quality Officer at Piramal Pharma Solutions, overseeing quality, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance globally. Rashida has also held senior positions at Piramal Enterprises Limited, where they were responsible for quality, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance on a global scale. Additionally, they have experience in corporate quality assurance at Piramal Healthcare India and compliance management at Shreya Life Sciences and Associated Capsules Group. Throughout their career, Rashida has demonstrated a commitment to delivering patient-centric products and services and staying ahead of regulatory requirements.

Rashida Najmi earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from L M College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad in 1987. Rashida then pursued a Management in Human Resources (HR) degree from IGNOU from 1991 to 1993. In 1996 to 1998, they became a qualified lead Auditor in ISO 9000,14000 and obtained expertise in auditing for quality and environment standards. In 1998, they obtained the HACCP Qualified Trainer certification from FAO and WHO. From 1999 to 2001, they attended the Japanese Management Association JMA and received a degree in 5 S management, focusing on quality and compliance. In 2001 to 2003, they became president of the Kaizen Institute of India, where they received training on Kaizen, TPM, and BPR (business process reengineering). In 2011 to 2012, they earned a Green belt in Six Sigma from Six Sigma and statistical tools. Rashida later obtained their RAC (Regulatory Affairs Certification) from RAPS USA in 2016 to 2017. In September 2017, they became a member of RAPS.
