Alessandro Maffi

Alessandro Maffi has extensive experience in the field of HR. Alessandro is currently the HR Director at Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati, where they oversee talent acquisition, evaluation, learning and development, and digital transformation. Alessandro is also responsible for personnel administration, payroll, and health & safety activities. Prior to this role, Alessandro worked at PwC Italy for over 14 years, holding various positions. At PwC Italy, they served as an HR Business Partner for the Assurance line of service, where they focused on employer branding, recruiting, performance management, development, talent management, budgeting, and rewarding. Alessandro also worked as an Employer Branding and Recruiting Coordinator, leading the creation and deployment of the employer branding and recruiting strategy and managing the recruiting process for the Tax and Legal practice. Additionally, Alessandro worked as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, where they were involved in screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coaching colleagues, primarily for the Audit & Assurance practice, as well as contributing to employer branding initiatives.

Alessandro Maffi began their education by attending Liceo Scientifico from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained their Maturità Scientifica. Alessandro then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economia Aziendale from Università di Pavia, completing it from 2002 to 2005. Following this, Alessandro obtained their MSc (Laurea Specialistica) in Management per l'Impresa from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, they spent a year studying Economics & Management as an Erasmus Student at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) in 2007.
