Gary Messina

Gary Messina currently serves as the Director of North America Sales at Pirum, a position held since June 2023, after previously holding the role of Associate Director in the same department. Prior to joining Pirum, Gary worked as Vice President at EquiLend from December 2021 to June 2023, focusing on client relationship management. Gary's experience includes a tenure at Citi from August 2017 to December 2021 as Vice President and Securities Lending Trader, and a role as a Capital Markets Analyst at Wells Fargo from October 2016 to August 2017. Additionally, Gary's career began at Citi in various capacities within Global Securities Finance Trade Support, including Junior Trader and Private Equity Accountant roles. Earlier career experience includes Assistant Project Manager at Murtha Construction and an internship at New York Life Insurance Company. Gary graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2009.
