Louis Thompson

Louis Thompson is a Senior Software Engineer at Pirum since August 2021. Prior to that role, they worked as a Software Engineer at ClearScore from January 2020 to August 2021. At ClearScore, they were responsible for supporting and leading the delivery of backend features for Clearscore Protect. Louis also mentored junior developers within the team. Louis Thompson also worked as a Scala Developer at Elsevier from February 2019 to January 2020 and at Sky from July 2016 to February 2019. Before that, they served as a Software Engineer at Ordnance Survey from April 2015 to June 2016, where they were responsible for developing new features and maintaining existing ones for OS Maps Web. Louis Thompson started their career as a Customer Service Advisor at Digital Experts UK Ltd in April 2009 and worked in customer service roles at Careline Services Limited and Boots UK before transitioning into software development roles at Capita IT Professional Services and the Kent and Essex Police Force.

Louis Thompson attended the University of Westminster from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
