Payal Lakhani

Payal Lakhani has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Customer Service Officer/Administrator at NatWest for two and a half years. In 2008, they joined UBS as a Corporate Actions Analyst, where they handled announcements of Mandatory Corporate Actions for Prime Brokerage clients. Payal also streamlined processes and supervised offshore operations. Payal then moved to Citi in 2009, initially working as a Corporate Actions Analyst before progressing to the role of Corporate Actions Senior Specialist, AVP. During their time at Citi, they managed front to back processing of equity and fixed income corporate actions for various clients, built strong relationships with stakeholders, and handled complex events. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Risk & Oversight, Global Corporate Actions AVP, where they led the migration of the entire EMEA Corporate Actions function to a low-cost location and provided training and support. Since 2019, they have been working as a Product Manager at Pirum Systems.

Payal Lakhani's education history includes several qualifications. In 2002 to 2005, they attended The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they earned a 2:1 Bsc(Hons) degree in Economics with Computing Science. Then, in 2008 to 2009, they studied at the Mountbatten Institute in New York, obtaining an International Diploma in Management from the University of Cambridge (CIE) and a Certificate in International Business Practice.

In addition to their formal education, Payal Lakhani received certification in "Working as a Product Owner in Agile Teams" from QA Ltd in February 2020.
