Tristan McLaurin has worked in various engineering roles since 2016. In 2016, they were a Toy Design Student Mentor and Research Intern at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2017, they worked as a Senior Technical Intern at Lockheed Martin, where they redesigned an F35 sim/training device and rapidly designed and manufactured tools for the production floor. In 2018, they were a Mechanical Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they redesigned drip irrigation emitters to improve performance and reduce cost. In 2019, they were a Student Mentor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, providing groups of 6-18 individuals within a class of 450 students a unique, hands-on experience in developing new consumer products. Currently, they are a Mechanical Engineer at Pison.
