Shubham Jangir

Shubham Kumar is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software development and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Rivian since February 2020, Shubham Kumar focuses on delivering software for High Compute Platforms aimed at Autonomy features, successfully deploying Level-2/3 functionalities for the first generation of Rivian vehicles. Prior to this role, Shubham Kumar was a Principal Engineer at Rivian, leading teams to develop software for high-compute applications that facilitated the rollout of the first vehicle from the Rivian Factory. Earlier experience includes positions at NextNav as a Software Engineering Manager and Senior Staff Software Engineer, where Shubham Kumar managed firmware development for a high-precision terrestrial positioning system and designed software for urban positioning challenges. Additionally, Shubham Kumar spent over a decade at Texas Instruments in various roles focusing on software development and support. Shubham Kumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer from Delhi College of Engineering, obtained in 2001.
