Andy Cush

Andy Cush is an accomplished writer and editor with extensive experience in music and entertainment journalism. Currently serving as a Contributing Editor at Pitchfork since January 2020, Andy edits reviews and features while writing diverse stories covering topics such as music piracy and classic albums. Previously, as a Senior Writer at Spin, Andy wrote investigative pieces and features, including a profile of 'High Maintenance' star Ben Sinclair. Other notable roles include a Staff Writer at Gawker Media, where Andy produced features and daily blogs; a Writer/Editor at ANIMAL New York; and a Contributing Writer for Evolver.fm. Andy began a career in journalism after earning a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology from Northeastern University in 2011.
