Seth Dodson

Seth Dodson is the current Senior Production Director at Pitchfork. Prior to their current position, they were with The Hideout: Local Bar & Grill, Chicago Reader, and American Society for Clinical Pathology (HR). Seth has been self-employed as a Producer & Promoter.

Seth has always had a passion for music. Seth started their career working at a local bar & grill before moving on to production and promotion. In 2007, they began working in HR for the American Society for Clinical Pathology where they coordinated member recruitment and retention programs. Seth also managed office operations and responded to customer inquiries. In 2011, they left to pursue their dream of working in the music industry.

Seth landed a job at the Chicago Reader, a weekly paper that covers news, politics, and culture. Seth worked as a production director and was responsible for the overall look and feel of the publication. In 2017, they joined Pitchfork, a leading voice in the indie music scene. Seth currently oversees all print and digital production for the company.

Seth Dodson has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Texas State University.

Seth Dodson reports to Benjamin Key, Head of Programming. They work with and Liz Pesnel - Director, Business Operations & Finance, Events.
