Paul Briney Edd.

Paul Briney EdD began their career in education in 2005 as a Teacher at Creekside Elementary, where they worked until 2010. In 2011, they joined Pitt County Schools as an Assistant Principal before being promoted to Principal in June 2015. Paul continued their role as School Principal in Pitt County Schools from 2015 onwards.

Paul Briney EdD started their education journey in 2002 at East Carolina University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Elementary Education and Teaching in 2005. Paul then continued their studies at the same institution, earning a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching in 2008. In 2010, they pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, which they completed in 2012. Most recently, they earned a Doctor of Education - EdD in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from East Carolina University in 2021.
