Taimak Willis has held various roles in the education sector, starting as a 2nd Grade Educator at Pitt County Schools in 2013. Taimak later served as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Lenoir County Public Schools in 2015. Returning to Pitt County Schools in 2016, they took on the role of 4th Grade Educator and later transitioned to Assistant Principal. Willis then became a School Principal in 2022 at Craven County School District before assuming the same position at Pitt County Schools in 2023.
Taimak Willis earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from Craven Community College in 2010. Taimak then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from East Carolina University in 2013. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Elementary and Middle School Administration/Principalship at East Carolina University, completing their studies in 2019. In 2023, Taimak also obtained certifications as a Certified Behavioral Analysis Trainer (DISC) and as a Maxwell Certified Speaker, Coach, and Trainer from the John Maxwell Team.
