Paula Tuttle

Cellist at Pittsburgh Opera

Paula Tuttle serves as the Executive Director at Chambersite since July 2017, promoting chamber music and community events. Tuttle has an extensive background as a cellist with the Pittsburgh Opera and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre since September 1987 and 1986, respectively. As a dedicated educator, Tuttle holds positions on the cello faculty at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh since 2002 and January 2001, respectively, while also being an adjunct faculty member at Chatham University since January 2010. Previously, Tuttle was an adjunct faculty member at Duquesne University from January 2001 to January 2002 and served on the Executive Board of the Pittsburgh Musicians' Union from January 2006 to March 2019. Tuttle's education includes a Post Masters in Music from the New England Conservatory of Music and a Masters of Fine Arts in Music from Carnegie Mellon University, complemented by studies at the Eastman School of Music and The University of Akron.
