Gerald Alexander

Gerald Alexander is a seasoned football coach currently serving as the Defensive Backs Coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers since February 2025. Previously, Alexander held the role of Safeties Coach with the Las Vegas Raiders from January 2024 to early 2025 and was instrumental as the Defensive Backs Coach for the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium from January 2020 to February 2022. Alexander's coaching experience extends back to roles at the University of California, Berkeley, Montana State University-Bozeman, Indiana State University, and the University of Washington, among others. Alexander's foundation in football was built during a professional athletic career in the National Football League from April 2007 to March 2012, following a collegiate education at Boise State University, where a Bachelor's degree in Communication was attained.
