Fidele Niyonzigira

Fidele Niyonzigira has a strong background in technology and innovation, with a focus on information technology and cybersecurity. Fidele worked at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra from 2011 to present, starting as a Systems Administrator and later moving up to Director of Information Technology and Vice President & Technology Officer. In these roles, they were responsible for managing the organization's IT department, overseeing IT audits, digital security, disaster recovery, resource allocation, and project management. Niyonzigira also played a key role in strengthening the organization's cybersecurity measures through the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures. Prior to their work at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Niyonzigira worked at Philips Healthcare from 2008 to 2011, where they held positions as Junior Project Manager, Product Support Analyst, and NOC Analyst.

Fidele Niyonzigira holds a Doctor of Information Technology (DIT) degree with a specialization in Information Assurance & Cybersecurity from Capella University, which was earned between 2018 and 2022. Before that, Fidele completed a Master's Degree in Information Systems Management at DeVry University, with an end year of 2013. Fidele also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from La Roche University, which was completed by 2004. Additionally, Fidele has certifications as a Doctoral Candidate from Capella University and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from DeVry University.
