Erin Neer is a highly experienced Certified Veterinary Technician with a career spanning over two decades in various veterinary roles. Currently serving at MedVet since July 2024 and concurrently at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center since January 2018, Erin has also held significant positions such as Lead Animal Anesthetist at the University of Pittsburgh-McGowan Institute and Veterinary Technician Supervisor at Houston Zoo. Earlier experience includes roles at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, VCA Berwyn Animal Hospital, Brookfield Zoo, Purdue University, and Medvet Memphis, showcasing a strong background in surgery, anesthesia, and technical supervision. Erin Neer holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology from Purdue University, earned between 1995 and 1999.

The state-of-the-art facility is the most comprehensive multi-specialty veterinary hospital in the Western Pennsylvania area also saw a 4500 square foot expansion in June 2014. It features the modern facilities and equipment necessary to offer the best care for our clients' pets. Our 34,795 square-foot multi-specialty veterinary center contains a variety of specialized areas to accommodate pets' needs.
