Mandy Grewal

Mandy Grewal is the Supervisor/Mayor of Pittsfield Charter Township, serving since November 2008, and has established a decisive leadership style focused on fostering partnerships to promote equity and sustainability in one of Michigan's most diverse communities. Prior experience includes serving as a Washtenaw County Commissioner, where responsibilities included managing a $100 million general fund budget, and roles as a Research Associate for New Visions: Alliance to End Violence in Asian-American Communities, and as a Commissioner for the Michigan Women's Commission. Mandy Grewal holds a PhD in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan and additional diplomas from Harvard Kennedy School and Michigan State University, along with a Master’s Degree in Economics from Eastern Michigan University.
