Xiaoyue Zhu

Xiaoyue Zhu is an experienced professional in the field of process development and manufacturing technology, currently serving as Senior Manager of Technology Manufacturing at Pivot Bio since January 2022. Prior to this role, Xiaoyue held the position of Principal Engineer in Pilot Plant Process Development and Operations at Corbion (formerly known as Solazyme/TerraVia) from September 2011 to September 2021, focusing on pilot plant studies and technology transfer of algal oil processes. Xiaoyue also worked as a Senior Process Development Engineer at Novartis from September 2007 to September 2011, and as a Senior Scientist in upstream process development at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies from July 1999 to August 2007. Xiaoyue holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology with a minor in Computer Science from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.
