Arthur de Waleffe

Arthur de Waleffe is a Senior GNC Engineer at Pivotal, specializing in GNC algorithms for tilt-body eVTOL since April 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Flight Control Systems Engineer at Garmin from July 2020 to March 2023, where Arthur led the development of the GFC 500/600 aftermarket autopilot series and contributed to integrated flight deck autopilots for a range of airframes. Arthur’s academic background includes a Master of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Military Academy in Belgium. Additionally, Arthur has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University in both the Mathematics and Aeronautics and Astronautics departments. Prior military experience includes training as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Belgian Defence, focusing on tactical operations and personnel management.
