Matt Barnes

Matt Barnes has over 15 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance Engineering and EMC Test Engineering. Matt began their career in 2004 as a Summer Engineering Intern at Honeywell. In 2005 they became a Hardware Engineer and EMC Test Specialist at Lexmark, where they programmed in C++, performed A2LA accredited worldwide compliance testing on a variety of products, and wrote calibration and testing procedures to meet ISO17025 quality and competency standards. In 2013 they moved to Northwest EMC Inc. as an EMC Test Engineer, where they performed accredited worldwide compliance testing on a variety of products and consulted with product teams on EMC design. In 2016 they joined Element Materials Technology as a Senior EMC Test Engineer. Currently, they are a Senior Regulatory Compliance Engineer and Regulatory Compliance Engineer at Pivotal Commware®.

Matt Barnes attended Shorecrest High School from 1997 to 2001, graduating with a High School degree. Matt then went on to attend the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
