Steve Mwangi

Steve Mwangi has worked in various roles since 2019. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Pivotal Commware®. In 2020, they were a Data Engineering Fellow at Insight Data Science where they built a platform with schema evolution by streaming 10GB of data from household IoT sensor devices. In 2019, they were a Student Researcher at the University of Washington Tacoma, where they developed a web application for air quality using React and Azure resources. Steve also worked as a Research Assistant conducting research on social and individual learning and how genomes are influenced or influence the learning process. Additionally, they were a Summer Intern where they created data visualizations to explore the nature of genetic data for amyloid leukemia patients and built an initial classification model using logistic regression.

Steve Mwangi has a strong educational background. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Computer Science and Systems (Cum Laude) from the University of Washington in 2020, following an Associates of Science (Honors) in Computer Science from Highline College in 2018.
