Jillian Diamant

Jillian Diamant serves as General Counsel at Pivotal Ventures since July 2022, focusing on advancing social progress for women and families in the United States. Prior to this role, Jillian held the position of Deputy General Counsel at the Ford Foundation from May 2019 to July 2022 and worked at Open Society Foundations as Senior Legal Counsel and Associate General Counsel from January 2016 to May 2019. Earlier legal experience includes associate positions at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Jillian's career began in operational roles at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and the Guggenheim Museum. Academically, Jillian holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a degree from Stanford University, along with educational background at Peddie School.
