Javier Jiménez Shaw

Javier Jiménez Shaw is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in research and development across multiple organizations. Currently serving as an Expert Software Engineer at Pix4D since November 2017, Javier leads the Spatial Reference Systems team and has developed a significant internal library utilizing open-source libraries such as PROJ. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at Pix4D, where contributions to drone mapping software and photogrammetry algorithms were made, as well as a Senior Software Engineer at Oracle focusing on VoIP network traffic monitoring tools. Javier has also held key positions at Acme Packet, BBVA, GMV, and Ingeciber, demonstrating expertise in C++ development, risk analysis software integration, and finite element modeling. Javier holds a Master's degree in Civil and Hydraulic Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
