Dr. Cornell Verdeja-Woodson

Dr. Cornell Verdeja-Woodson serves as the Head of DEIB & Talent Development at Pixar Animation Studios and is a Visiting Assistant Professor at San Francisco State University. With extensive experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, Dr. Verdeja-Woodson previously held roles such as Director of Equity & Belonging at Zillow and Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Headspace Health. As the Founder and Principal Consultant of Brave Trainings, LLC, Dr. Verdeja-Woodson emphasizes innovative training and program development. Academic contributions include teaching queer studies at Ithaca College and leadership roles at Cornell University, focusing on diversity initiatives. Dr. Verdeja-Woodson earned a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change & Leadership from USC Rossier School of Education and holds degrees from Cornell University, the University of Vermont, and Ithaca College.
