Keiko Murayama

Keiko Murayama is an accomplished Character Art Director currently at Pixar Animation Studios, contributing to the upcoming film Inside Out 2 since February 2022. Previously, Murayama served in a similar role at Netflix on the animated feature Ultraman from August 2020 to February 2022. With extensive experience in character design, Murayama was the Lead Character Designer for Carmen Sandiego and City of Ghost at Chromosphere-la between 2017 and 2020. Additional roles include freelance character design at DreamWorks Animation for a project in development and for Pixar's Turning Red. Past positions also feature character design contributions for various titles at DreamWorks Animation, Disney Television Animation, Nickelodeon Animation Studios, and Disney Publishing Worldwide. Keiko Murayama holds a BFA in Illustration/Entertainment Art from ArtCenter College of Design, where studies were completed between 2004 and 2008.
