James Cory Webster has a diverse work experience in the field of art and design. James Cory started their career as a Contract Illustrator for the Red Brick Brewing Company, where they designed characters and illustrated bottles for their collectible bomber bottle series.

James Cory then worked as a Contract Cover Illustrator for Darby Pop Publishing, creating the cover for the second issue of "Dead Squad."

Webster also served as an Illustrator and Concept Designer for Dr. Ashok Kumar Malhotra, collaborating directly with the author to establish the look and feel for the book "Piyari the Gentle Cow."

James Cory contributed as a Freelance Illustrator for Catalyst Game Labs, working on illustrations for the game ShadowRun.

Webster worked as a Storyboard and Concept Artist for Moxie, and as a Freelance Illustrator for Fantasy Flight Games, contributing to the Android: Netrunner The Card Game.

James Cory later joined Floyd County Productions, where they held various roles including Illustrator, Keyframe Artist, Lead Background Designer, and Painter for TV shows like Archer, Poorly Drawn Lines, Marvel's Hit-Monkey, and Walt.

James Cory Webster attended Syracuse University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Illustration and Visual Design. In 2015, they participated in the Robotpencil Mentorship program, focusing on character design for film and video games under the guidance of Anthony Jones.
