Jason Marrero

Jason Marrero has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jason is currently employed as a Software Engineer II at Pixelberry Studios, starting in 2021. Prior to this, they worked at UPS where they held several positions. As a Senior Software Engineer, they refactored microservices and learned to containerize applications. In their role as an Intermediate Software Engineer, they optimized Restful APIs, engineered testing tools, and converted build processes. During their time as a Software Engineer, they developed a mobile application, scheduled jobs, and upgraded technology. Before joining UPS, Jason worked as a Coop, where they contributed to application development and maintenance using MEAN Stack, JMeter, ReactJS, Spring MVC, and Selenium. Additionally, they have experience as a Peer Advisor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and as a Clerk at the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company.

Jason Marrero attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in information technology with a focus on computer games and programming skills. In June 2021, they also obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
