John Buchanan, P.E.

John Buchanan, P.E. is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over three decades in the specialty solutions and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering & Process Control at Pixelle Specialty Solutions since November 1986, John has held multiple positions including Utilities Manager, where responsibilities included the operation of critical systems such as recovery boilers and wastewater treatment. In previous roles, John worked at Kimberly-Clark from January 1983 to November 1986 as a Manufacturing Supervisor and Process Specialist, overseeing operations of high-speed tissue machines. John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned between 1978 and 1982.
