Karl Christianson

Karl Christianson is an accomplished operations executive with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Operations at Pixelle Specialty Solutions since November 2018. Previous roles include Vice President of Manufacturing Operations and Vice President General Manager at the same company. Prior to Pixelle Specialty Solutions, Karl held positions at Glatfelter as Mill Manager and Director of Paper and Converting Operations, and at SP Fiber Technologies as General Manager. Karl's career also includes significant roles at RockTenn, Armstrong World Industries, Tembec, and Mead Corporation, demonstrating a strong foundation in production and operational leadership. Academically, Karl holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Material and Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Michigan, along with a Master in Business Administration from Purdue University.
