Selina Monickam

Selina Monickam has been working in the field of product development since 2010. Selina started their career as a Director of Product Development at Pixelligent Technologies, where they also held roles as a Senior Product Development Manager, Product Development Manager, and Senior Scientist. During their time as a Scientist, they designed, implemented and assessed data from controlled laboratory investigations, experiments and trials, and as a result determined innovative processes to modify surfaces of ZrO2 nanocrystals with organic ligands for various LED and OLED applications. Prior to their role at Pixelligent Technologies, Selina was an adjunct faculty member at Montgomery College in their Chemistry Department from 2009 to 2010 and a Lecturer at the University of Maryland in their Chemistry and Biochemistry Department from 2006 to 2009.

Selina Monickam holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Maryland, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from the same university.
